This introductory workshop will include an overview of the required skills necessary to be a successful project manager for today’s modern-day design/construction practitioner and will focus on the core competencies required to meet these everyday challenges.

• Understand today’s project management delivery systems (Design-Bid-Build through IPD).

• Identify disciplines needed to manage projects competently.

• Learn the many technologies (BIM, Energy Modeling) needed in order to manage projects efficiently.

• Investigate core competencies required to meet everyday project management challenges.
